Headed back to the US - Keels go to Canada day 18

Today was not a real interesting day... lots of driving. Lots of family being silly after being on a road trip for 18 days.

At one point we listened to the radio, it was the country station. It was in french. We may have taken turns pretending to translate the songs.
We saw these railroad ties and thought of Gramps.
This was in Tim Hortons. They are all over the place here and we made fun of seeing them so often. However, I want this for the kids bathroom toilet paper dispenser. Pure genius.
We went to walmart in Fredericton to get Canadian candy and snacks. We had just gotten used to seeing things in liters when we were leaving.
Lots of cool Dorito flavors we don't get here. The Sonic Sour Creme was good, the dill pickle kind tasted like fresh dill, and the cheddar jalapeno kind was good.

I'm  pretty sure you could tell we were not from the area with how silly we were looking at the different items that we have never seen.
Then there is the lice helmet pictures. Yes, I wasn't crazy about all their heads going in them but I prayed there were no lice.... Makes me thankful I put tea tree oil in their shampoo to keep them away when daddy lets them - ehhh joins in their their shenanigans.

 Last Canadian selfie!

We waited longer to get back in the US than to get into Canada. They opened the van door on Chloe's side and junk spilled out. I think they may have wished they didn't do that....
 The start of I95!

Once we got in the US we called Pok, Abby had so many exciting things to tell him.
We had dinner at the only CFA in Maine, located in Bangor. We were excited and definitely had some sweet tea. Paul asked for sweet tea in Canada and was met with an odd look and an offer for herbal tea.  He got water.
We enjoyed the food and service. We had the most excited CFA employee I've ever met. I think he likes CFA more than we do.
We stayed in Bangor that night. The kids had the pool to themselves, and mom and dad had the hot tub. It was glorious.
