Times Square and headed to Va. - Keels go to Canada Day 21

The view from our room the next morning.
NYC isn't my favorite place to be, I'm a mountain or beach view lover. But this was a great view. Also up in the hotel room I was not around people, other than the 4 birthed and their daddy.
Abigail next to the elevator showing our floor.
We got to go to another CFA only a few blocks from the one we ate at the night before. This time it was a two story one! So exciting! Yes, we are CFA nerds.
Do you know how much our coupons came in handy in NYC? The entire family ate breakfast for $8. Yep. One person can't even do that without coupons, let alone 6. Thank you Chick Fil A for being the most amazing restaurant ever and letting us eat great for way less than anywhere else we could go.

I really liked this policy. I don't even remember what the name of the place was, but I like it.
 Empire State Building!
We did not go up, just in the lobby.

You don't know how many times we took this picture trying to get the right angle to see our faces and the building. The kids have a great distaste for selfies now. I wonder if that was Pauls plan, that way when the girls are teenagers they don't spend all their time making duck faces while taking selfies....
 The sign at Macy's.
The Macy's sign, with half of Paul's face.
Just chillin.
Abigail found her place, but they spelled it wrong.
 So many people and buildings.

So we found this store that had huge bears in it and we had to go. Found out that there is only one in the United States and it is right here in NYC.

Oh yes, they wanted some things from this store but most were not willing to pay the outrageous price for a stuffed animal or pillow.

Sarah loves Olive Garden, simply because she loves olives. She had to have her picture taken here.
The kids went down with dad to check out the subway.
This was as close as I got. Chloe and I stayed up on the street level.

Here is a picture of our hotel, the Crown Plaza. It is on top of the Hershey's store.
Paul takes a better picture than me...
Our check out time wasn't until 1pm so we had a few minutes for one more stop before going back and getting the luggage out of our room.

The kids loved it and thought of their Gramps, who loves M&M's.
My kind of coffee cup... ok maybe it was a mixing bowl but whatever works, right?

I realize how spoiled we are in Florida. I'm driving distance from many of the same places just by going to Orlando. I still don't go to those places. Orlando has too many people too. Have I mentioned I'm an introvert?
We also noticed that Trump has a lot of buildings here...
I know it doesn't count as going to Central Park, but we did drive by it.

 ...and through it technically.

We took so many pictures I really have no idea what this building even is.
 Leaving! Buh Bye NYC!!
Kids enjoyed driving through the tunnel.
We did drive through Maryland.
We stopped for dinner at Potbelly's just south of DC. It was here the kids found it hilarious to wave at the cars driving by in the parking lot. At this point we just didn't care how goofy our kids looked, 6 people in a car for 3 weeks changes you.

Sarah stole her daddys phone and took a selfie. Maybe she doesn't hate them that much yet, only when dad insists we take one. We stayed the night in Richmond, got there around 8:30 but no one wanted to swim. Everyone just wanted to lay around and watch TV and go to bed. So that's what we did.
